Summer 2010
Hi everyone,
What are you embroidering? Send me pictures!
The embroidery club at the shop is working on HOOPSISTERS newest block of the month TNT. We're going to have some gorgeous quilts all done on the embroidery machine - pieced, embellished and quilted!
I brought back a couple of simple wallhangings from quilt market, also done by Hoopsisters so look for a day class with butterflies and dragonflies one day in August. A perfect way to wile away a summer day in the airconditioning!
All About ME (Machine Embroidery) is a live webinar that we host in the shop the first Friday of every month. Kay from OESD presents a new topic at 11am and has all kinds of tips, tricks and great ideas! You can find the full schedule by clicking on the link for classes at the top of the page and register by calling the shop. You'll go home with a CD full of ideas and hints that are sure to get you motivated! June's topic was Quilting Possibilities!
OESD is doing another embroidery collection series for Christmas 2010. The first CD in the series will be available in September and more details will be coming soon. Formats on CD are: ART, PES, EXP, JEF, PCS, DST, HUS, JEF, EXP, XXX, SEW
