Quilting Possibilities Gazette
A NOTE FROM DEBBIE...
Welcome Summer! I love this time of year at the Jersey Shore - the weather is nice, not too hot, not too cold, the tourists are coming but we're not tripping over each other yet. The beaches are GORGEOUS, the gardens are bright and shiny and I have several small quilting projects lined up to keep me sane. All is right in my world!
We have our very own fabric! YES! I worked with Hoffman to design a batik to celebrate our 14th birthday and this is what we came up with. I LOVE IT! Join us in our summer NJ batik challenge. You'll find the fabric and the challenge rules by clicking here to go to our blog. You do read the blog right???? LOL
We have great plans for this fabric along with the challenge - look for the staff aprons, kits, and maybe a block of the month . . . .
We have quite a bit planned for the summer - check out the classes by clicking here. I try to update them every Monday but with our brand spanking new grandson, Nathan, hmmm cuddling time seems to be getting in the way of doing everything I'm supposed to!
We'll be having Debby Brown the HandiQuilter as a guest teacher for two days in September. Stay tuned for details.
Michele Scott will be here this summer with a class called "BobbinPalooza". Linda Hahn has some new classes up her sleeve she wants to test out, Roxanne has a gorgous quilt from Judy Martin's Stellar Quilts book (the sample is hanging in the entryway) that we're scheduling a fall class for and I've persuaded Fern to teach a Hunter's Star class - look for her gorgeous samples in the shop.
Kaye England is returning to QP for two days in September 2011! YAY! I have no idea of what she will be doing, I just know she's coming. Stay tuned.

Karen Snyder and I are working on a 1930's Block of the Month that will start in September. As soon as Karen gets her ideas on paper and sends them to me so I can put them into my border plans in EQ, I'll post them. Look for details next month. (I'm going to email her this newsletter to give her an electronic goose! LOL)
We have new items arriving daily that I ordered at Spring Quilt Market last month. New patterns, new books, new rulers and oh, the fabric! Always check the "Sew What's New?" section of the website for the latest and greatest.
Don't forget QP will be closed
Fourth of July. Enjoy your holidays!
I hope this finds you with at least one new project to start, having just finished one. Isn't that the neatest time of quilting? You have new fabric, maybe mixed with some out of your stash, a new pattern, a new idea, a new technique you want to try. The possibilities are endless! It's exciting!
Everyone at QP thanks you for your business & wishes you a delightful summer!
Piecefully,
Debbie
